The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, fortunately escaped severe injury and declined transportation to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça.
Just after noon, at 12:35, emergency services were again on the move, this time to assist a woman in her 60s who had suffered a fall from a staircase at Beco da Garagem, Funchal. She sustained injuries to her leg, shoulder, and chest and was immobilized before being transported to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further treatment.
