Just a day earlier, on August 6, the Bombeiros Sapadores de Santa Cruz responded to an incident where a car overturned near the Aquaparque in Santa Cruz. A man sustained hand injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Rear-End Collision on Via Expresso
Another incident occurred on August 5 in the expressway tunnel between Ponta do Sol and Madalena do Mar. This rear-end collision involved two vehicles and resulted in minor injuries to a woman who was also transported to Hospital Dr Nélio Mendonça.
