Virgília São Pedro Teixeira

Virgília São Pedro Teixeira also passed on April 29, 2026. Her funeral will take place on the same day as Maria Bernardete's, beginning at 9:15 AM from the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and proceeding to the Nossa Senhora das Angústias cemetery in São Martinho. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, with cremation to follow.

Irmã Maria José de Ascensão de Faria

Irmã Maria José de Ascensão de Faria, a beloved member of the religious community, died on April 28, 2026. The funeral was held on April 29, with a service in the Chapel of Resurrection at Pilar. Her burial took place at the Nossa Senhora das Angústias cemetery. The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, her family, and healthcare staff who cared for her, extend their heartfelt thanks for the compassion shown during her illness.
