The first incident involved a traffic accident on the via rápida, specifically in the tunnel of Viveiros, heading from Funchal to Caniço. A woman in her 50s sustained chest injuries and was promptly transported to the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. This accident required the intervention of the Bombeiros Voluntários Madeirenses to provide immediate medical assistance.
Another road incident occurred near the Aquaparque in Santa Cruz, where a car overturned, resulting in a male driver sustaining a hand injury. The Bombeiros Sapadores de Santa Cruz responded to this capotamento, ensuring the victim received necessary medical care at the hospital.
A third minor collision took place on the via expresso between Ponta do Sol and Madalena do Mar, involving a rear-end collision between two cars. A woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça by the Bombeiros Voluntários da Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol.
