On August 25, 2026, a 56-year-old worker fell approximately 10 meters from a crane while cutting a tree in Santo da Serra, Santa Cruz. Despite being conscious, the man sustained multiple injuries and was promptly attended to by the Emergency Medical Intervention Unit (EMIR) and the Santa Cruz Firefighters. He was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Child Injured in Funchal Garden Incident
