The reopening ceremony was attended by Pedro Rodrigues, the Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructures, alongside Élia Ribeiro, President of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Development of Northern Madeira, and Elias Gouveia, a board member. Their presence underlined the government's commitment to improving regional infrastructure and boosting local tourism.
Managed by the Society for the Development of Northern Madeira, the complex is a vital part of the São Vicente municipality's leisure offerings. The reopening is not just about resuming operations; it represents a broader initiative to enhance the area's tourist appeal, particularly in the Ponta Delgada parish.
