Amadeu de Faria Gomes, a resident of Tabua, will be laid to rest on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The funeral procession will commence from Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça at 14:15, moving to São Bento Parish Church in Ribeira Brava for a mass at 15:00, followed by burial at the local cemetery. A coach service will be available for those attending from nearby areas.

João Reinaldo da Corte Figueira

João Reinaldo da Corte Figueira, from Câmara de Lobos, passed away on June 6, 2026. His funeral will be held on Monday, June 8, beginning at 10:00 from Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça to the cemetery chapel in Câmara de Lobos. A mass will occur at 11:00, with interment to follow. His family extends gratitude to the hospital staff for their compassionate care.

Ana Maria de Freitas Gomes

Ana Maria de Freitas Gomes, a long-term resident of Gaula in Santa Cruz, will be honored on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Services will start at 11:30 from the Funeral Agency Mortuary to the Parish Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz in Gaula, with a mass at 12:00 before her burial in Gaula Cemetery. The family appreciates the support from medical teams who cared for her.

Each family has expressed deep thanks for the condolences and support shown by friends, neighbors, and community members during these difficult times. Memorial masses will also be held on the seventh day after each funeral, inviting everyone to participate in remembering their loved ones.
