Minister of Internal Administration Luís Neves concludes his three-day visit to Madeira, facing delays on the final day due to an extended ceremony in Câmara de Lobos.

Minister Luís Neves, responsible for Internal Administration, wrapped up his three-day official visit to Madeira with a final act at the PSP Regional Command in Funchal. The visit, marked by a series of engagements with police structures, concluded later than planned.

The delay in the day's schedule was attributed to the prolonged 148th-anniversary ceremony of the PSP Madeira Regional Command, which took place in Câmara de Lobos earlier in the day. This ceremony extended beyond its planned duration, resulting in subsequent delays.

Neves' itinerary included a morning visit to the static police exhibition in Câmara de Lobos and the anniversary ceremony, originally scheduled to end by midday. However, the extended celebrations led to his delayed arrival at the Regional Command headquarters in Funchal by mid-afternoon.

The visit to Madeira, focused on strengthening ties with local police and reviewing regional security infrastructure, was Neves' final act in the archipelago, emphasizing the importance of the PSP in maintaining Madeira's safety and security.
