The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has forecasted that Madeira will experience generally mildly cloudy skies today. The winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the north/northeast at speeds of up to 30 km/h. However, there is a possibility of strong winds, reaching up to 40 km/h, particularly in the eastern and western regions of the island, as well as in the highlands.

A slight increase in maximum temperatures is anticipated, with Funchal expecting highs of 25°C and Porto Santo reaching 21°C. This warming trend is welcomed by both residents and tourists who are eager to enjoy outdoor activities in the pleasant weather.

Regarding maritime conditions, the northern coast will see waves from the north/northwest ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters, while the southern coast will experience waves from the southern quadrant at about 1 meter in height.
