Residents and tourists in Madeira can expect a partly cloudy sky with chances of light rain, especially in the northern regions and highlands on Tuesday.

The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has forecasted a partly cloudy sky for the Madeira archipelago this Tuesday, July 21. The northern parts of the island and the highlands are expected to experience increased cloudiness with the possibility of light showers.

Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate, ranging from 10 to 30 km/h, coming from the north to northeast. In the capital city of Funchal, the weather is predicted to be mostly clear with light winds not exceeding 15 km/h.

For those planning to visit the northern coast, sea conditions will feature waves from the north/northeast, measuring between 1 to 1.5 meters.

This weather update is particularly relevant for tourists planning outdoor activities, as well as for local residents who depend on weather forecasts for daily planning.
