During a recent gathering, the PSD-Madeira parliamentary group met with representatives from Madeiran communities to gather their main concerns. These include the lack of direct flight connections to key regions such as South Africa and Brazil, and inadequacies in the consular network that have created hurdles for the diaspora.
Carlos Fernandes, a PSD deputy, emphasized the persistence of these issues, which have yet to be resolved despite being identified long ago.
