Madeira Parques Empresariais collaborates with AICEP to boost international business through a strategic cooperation agreement focused on education and investment.

In a significant move towards internationalization, Madeira Parques Empresariais (MPE), under the Regional Secretariat of Economy, has partnered with the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP). This collaboration marks the initiation of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing business education and attracting foreign investment to Madeira.

The memorandum focuses on two key areas: 'Academy and Training' and 'Investment Attraction and Territorial Promotion'. These initiatives are designed to equip local businesses with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in international markets, while simultaneously promoting Madeira as a prime location for investment.

The initial discussions took place in March, signifying the first step in this strategic partnership. The goal is to strengthen Madeira’s economic landscape by fostering an environment conducive to business growth and international collaboration.

For Madeira, known for its stunning landscapes and as a popular tourist destination, this partnership represents an opportunity to diversify its economy. By focusing on education and investment, Madeira aims to build a resilient economic foundation that complements its tourism sector.
