Madeira Launches First Instructor Course for Cadet and Youth Firefighter Schools

The Autonomous Region of Madeira is hosting its first-ever Instructor Course for Cadet and Youth Firefighter Schools, a pioneering initiative organized by the Regional Civil Protection Service (SRPC), IP-RAM, from May 14 to May 16, in partnership with the National Firefighters School.

This course, held at the SRPC's Training and Development Center in Madeira, sees participation from 18 firefighters across the region. These instructors will gain advanced pedagogical and technical skills to effectively mentor children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 within the Cadet and Youth Firefighter Schools.

The primary goal of this course is to equip instructors with the necessary tools to foster the next generation of firefighters. By focusing on both educational and technical aspects, the program ensures that young participants receive comprehensive training that prepares them for future challenges in emergency services.

The initiative is a crucial step for Madeira, reflecting a growing emphasis on structured and professional training environments for young aspiring firefighters. It highlights the region's commitment to enhancing public safety and emergency preparedness through targeted education.
