The Clube de Campismo da Madeira is organizing an exciting hiking event this Saturday, June 6th, as part of its annual activities program. This event invites both locals and tourists to participate in a scenic 13-kilometer hike from Maroços to Machico, promising a delightful experience through some of Madeira's most picturesque landscapes.

The hike, anticipated to last approximately five hours, offers a moderate level of difficulty suitable for most hiking enthusiasts. The trail includes stops at notable landmarks such as the Fontes Vermelhas, Levada do Caniçal (also known as Levada dos Maroços), and the Miradouro do Pico do Facho, providing participants with stunning panoramic views.

Included in the registration fee are transportation from Funchal to the starting point of the hike and back, as well as insurance coverage. It is important to note that registrations must be completed by 12 PM on Friday, June 5th, or earlier if the transport capacity is reached.
