Macaronight 2026 set for Largo do Colégio on 25 September

The University of Madeira will hold Macaronight 2026, European Researchers' Night at Largo do Colégio in Funchal on 25 September, from 15:00 to 21:30. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
Macaronight aims to bring science and research closer to society through direct contact with work developed by University of Madeira teachers, researchers and students.
The programme will present different university research areas and projects through science communication activities, demonstrations and opportunities for interaction with the public.
The event is intended to raise the profile of research carried out in Madeira, recognise the academic community's work and encourage curiosity and interest in science, particularly among younger people.
Registration must be completed by 17 September through online forms for companies, institutions and other public or private entities, and for visitors or the general public.
