This Saturday, June 20th, the Instituto Superior de Administração e Línguas (ISAL) will host the 19th edition of the Blessing and Ribbon Burning ceremony, a cherished tradition for the graduating students of Business Management and Tourism. The ceremony will take place at the historic Igreja do Colégio, starting at 1:30 PM.
The event, organized by the ISAL's Finalists Committee, is a symbolic moment marking the transition from academic life to professional careers. The ceremony will begin with a gathering at ISAL's premises at 12:45 PM, followed by a procession to the church. Leading the ceremony is Father Carlos Almada, who will conduct the religious service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The ritual includes speeches from the president of the Finalists Committee, course representatives, sponsors, and ISAL's management.
Dr. Cláudia Afonso and Dr. Pedro Nunes, sponsors for the Business Management and Tourism courses respectively, will play significant roles in the proceedings. Their involvement underscores the support and mentorship provided to students throughout their education.
