IASAÚDE health programmes reach more than 760 Ponta do Sol residents

IASAÚDE says its health programmes in Ponta do Sol have benefited more than 760 residents, with total investment exceeding €235,000.

IASAÚDE applied €183,000 to the Kit Bebé programme in Ponta do Sol, about 78% of the total investment counted in the municipality. The support is intended to help cover hygiene products, vaccines and other goods related to babies' well-being during their first year of life.

The +Visão Seniores programme received €30,000 to subsidise prescription glasses for older residents. More than €18,000 was applied through +Visão Crianças e Jovens for visual health care for minors living in the municipality. The +Sorriso programme recorded €3,152 to subsidise orthodontic appliances for children and young people.

More than 760 Ponta do Sol residents have benefited from IASAÚDE health programmes, which received more than €235,000 in investment. The itemised values add up to at least €234,152. IASAÚDE released the data during Ponta do Sol's 525th anniversary celebrations and produced an institutional video about the impact of the support on the local population.
