The Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, has announced that the golf course in Ponta do Pargo is on track to be completed by the end of the year. This announcement was made during the celebrations of the Ponta do Pargo Parish Day, which is part of the festivities honoring São Pedro.
The project is a significant public investment aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and tourism appeal of the Calheta municipality, where Ponta do Pargo is located. During his speech, Maciel also expressed solidarity with the Venezuelan community, particularly the Madeiran expatriates affected by recent events in Venezuela. He acknowledged the challenges faced by these communities and reiterated the government's support.
