The third edition of the Funchal Education Seminar, hosted by ANP Madeira and Funchal's City Council, has sold out two months before its scheduled date, reflecting the growing interest in educational discussions on the island.

The Funchal Education Seminar, now in its third edition, has once again demonstrated its appeal by selling out all available spots a full two months before the event is set to take place. Organized by the Associação Nacional de Professores – Secção da Madeira (ANP Madeira) in collaboration with the Câmara Municipal do Funchal, the seminar will host more than 200 educators and teachers from the region.

The seminar, known for its focus on reflection and sharing in the field of education, will feature prominent speakers including José Pacheco, founder of the Escola da Ponte, Adelino Calado, and Celina Lajoso, a local expert in education sciences and eTwinning ambassador for Madeira since 2022.

Luis Alves, president of ANP Madeira, expressed enthusiasm about the seminar's success, stating that it highlights the importance professionals place on educational innovation and collaboration. "Our aim is to inspire participants with new ideas and perspectives, motivating them to continue transforming and improving education," Alves said.

In addition to this event, ANP Madeira is planning a new initiative in October – the first International Education Seminar in Câmara de Lobos, set to explore the theme 'A School in Change: Reflections, Challenges, Transformations.' Scheduled for October 16-17 at the Madeira Press Museum, the seminar will feature both national and international speakers.
