Fuel Prices Set to Drop Again in Madeira

Starting next week, Madeira will witness another reduction in fuel prices, bringing welcome relief to both residents and tourists. This adjustment includes decreases in the maximum retail price of gasoline, road diesel, and colored and marked diesel (GCM).
According to a joint directive from the Regional Secretariat of Economy and the Regional Secretariat of Finance, the price of unleaded IO 95 gasoline will decrease by 0.5 cents per liter, setting the new maximum retail price at €1.746 per liter.
These price adjustments are part of Madeira's strategy to maintain a competitive edge in fuel pricing compared to the Azores and mainland Portugal. The regional government aims to alleviate the economic burden on its residents and attract more tourists by keeping transportation costs lower.
