Key sites such as Pico do Areeiro and Achada do Teixeira are expected to be particularly popular due to their elevated vantage points, which offer expansive views of the celestial event. The eclipse will begin at approximately 18:49, reaching its peak visibility at 19:46, when about 81.6% of the sun will be obscured by the moon at Pico do Areeiro.
The IFCN has issued guidelines to ensure the safety and preservation of these natural areas.
