Motorcycle Accident in Câmara de Lobos
On the evening of April 30th, a young motorcyclist was involved in an accident with a car on Estrada João Gonçalves Zarco in Câmara de Lobos. The 21-year-old suffered minor injuries and was quickly attended to by the Câmara de Lobos Volunteer Firefighters before being transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for further care.
Fall Incident in Funchal
Earlier in the day, another emergency call was made for a man in his 70s who fell from a height of two meters in the gardens of Bairro da Ajuda, Funchal. He sustained a clavicle injury and a forehead laceration. The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters immobilized him and transported him to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
Electrical Fire in Caminho das Voltas
On April 29th, firefighters responded to a fire in electrical cables located in the Caminho das Voltas, Funchal, near a church. Five firefighters arrived on the scene with a heavy vehicle to manage the situation, ensuring no further hazards developed.

On April 28th, a man suffered a cardiac arrest on Travessa dos Reis in Funchal. Thanks to the swift intervention of the EMIR and Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters, the man was successfully resuscitated and transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
