The cruise ship Amadea has made a stopover at the Port of Funchal, arriving at noon on Tuesday. This visit is part of its two-week voyage, which commenced in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, on May 16 and is scheduled to conclude in Hamburg, Germany, at the end of the month.
The Amadea, with 484 passengers and 310 crew members on board, journeyed from Lanzarote and is set to continue its trip towards Tangier, Morocco, departing Funchal at 5 PM on Wednesday. The ship's itinerary includes stops in several renowned destinations such as Fuerteventura and Lanzarote in the Canaries, Málaga and Ferrol in Spain, Portimão in mainland Portugal, and Honfleur in France.
While docked in Funchal, the Amadea is accompanied by the Hebridean Sky, which arrived the previous day with 58 passengers and 70 crew members, and the mega-yacht Home, which will be in port for six days.
