This agreement includes extensive investment in the marina's redevelopment, addressing both dry and wet areas, the creation of shops dedicated to nautical activities, and the reconstruction of the shipyard.

The Secretary of the Regional Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, emphasized that this new management model will modernize the infrastructure, enhance service professionalism, and meet the growing demands of an increasingly specialized nautical market. "This represents a new chapter for the Porto Santo Marina, boosting its competitiveness and capacity to attract vessels year-round," Rodrigues stated.
The concession also entails managing the land and water zones of the marina, including access and mooring rights, ensuring compliance with the current Marina Porto Santo Regulations and Tariff Guidelines.
This development is expected to significantly elevate the quality and appeal of Porto Santo as a destination for nautical tourism, a crucial sector for the island's economy.
