The service will begin at the mortuary chapel in Santa, Porto Moniz, and proceed to the parish church of Santa Maria Madalena, followed by burial in the local cemetery. A memorial mass is planned for June 20, 2026, at 18:00.
Maria Rita de Gouveia Malho
Maria Rita de Gouveia Malho, who resided at Rua do Bairro da Ajuda in São Martinho, Funchal, will be laid to rest today as well. The funeral procession will leave from the Hospital Dr. João de Almada at 13:00, with a mass at the Nossa Senhora das Angústias cemetery chapel at 14:00, followed by cremation. A seventh-day mass will occur on June 21, 2026, at 10:15 at the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda.
Maria José Nunes de Freitas Capelo Rodrigues
The funeral for Maria José Nunes de Freitas Capelo Rodrigues took place yesterday, June 12, 2026. Her family, residing at Rua do Ninho, São Martinho, Funchal, held a ceremony at the Nossa Senhora das Angústias cemetery.
