The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere forecasts a cloudy Sunday in Madeira, with temperatures reaching up to 27°C, accompanied by light winds.

Residents and tourists in Madeira can expect a mostly cloudy day this Sunday, August 2nd, as predicted by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA). The forecast indicates that the archipelago will experience significant cloud cover, with temperatures peaking at a warm 27 degrees Celsius.

The weather conditions will be characterized by light winds, generally not exceeding 20 km/h, from the north quadrant. However, in the higher altitudes of Madeira, the winds may become moderate, reaching speeds between 15 and 30 km/h from the west quadrant.

For those in the Funchal region, the IPMA forecast suggests slightly less cloud cover, with periods of increased cloudiness due to high-altitude clouds passing through. Winds in Funchal are expected to remain light, below 15 km/h.

These weather conditions are typical for Madeira during this time of the year, as the island often experiences varying degrees of cloudiness and mild temperatures, making it a comfortable destination for tourists seeking a break from hotter climates.
