The festivities commenced with a mass dedicated to Santa Maria Madalena at 2 PM, followed by a formal session at 5 PM at the Multi-use Space of Porto Moniz.
The official opening of the Sea Week took place at 7 PM at the town's waterfront, featuring performances by the Santo António Philharmonic Band and the theatre group Boloo do Caco. As the evening progressed, the audience was treated to a performance by Wilson Correia & Soul Collective, joined by guest artist Jagoda Różycka, at 9:15 PM.
