ACIF-CCIM Strengthens Blue Economy Initiatives at International Event

The Associação Comercial e Industrial do Funchal – Câmara de Comércio e Indústria da Madeira (ACIF-CCIM) is taking part in the 3rd International Dissemination Event of the ATLIC project - Atlantic Innoblue Communities. This event, taking place on April 21 and 22, highlights the organization's dedication to fostering the blue economy and engaging young people in innovation and entrepreneurship within the Atlantic space.
The delegation from ACIF-CCIM consists of nine members, including the project manager, a mentor and expert who is a professor at the University of Madeira, two Blue Leaders, and five young participants from the Instituto Profissional de Tecnologias e Lazer (IPTL). These young participants have previously engaged in the 3rd Innoblue Madeira, where they developed innovative projects they will now present at this international platform.
The ATLIC project is crucial for promoting sustainable economic activities related to the ocean, aligning with Madeira's strategic emphasis on the blue economy. This initiative not only supports economic growth but also highlights the importance of sustainable practices in ocean-related industries.
