Levada do Caldeirão Verde

The long levada from the Queimadas forest park to the Caldeirão do Inferno, 8.7 km one way and 17.4 km there and back. IFCN allows 6 h 30, one of the longest days on the classified network, even though the altitude barely changes, from 1020 m to 872 m. It is the stretch beyond the Caldeirão Verde that turns a half day into a full one.
