The University of Madeira, in collaboration with the Portuguese Catholic University, announces open applications for the 3rd edition of its Postgraduate Course in Political Science and International Relations.

The University of Madeira (UMa) has announced that applications are now open for the third edition of its Postgraduate Course in Political Science and International Relations. This program is offered in partnership with the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) and aims to provide students with advanced knowledge in political science and international relations.

Applications for this sought-after program will remain open until May 29, with interested candidates required to apply online via the university's official portal at http://candidaturas.uma.pt. The course is set to commence on September 14 and will be delivered in a b-learning format, combining in-person and online sessions.

Classes will be held on Fridays from 18:00 to 19:30 and Saturdays from 09:30 to 11:00, with an additional session from 11:30 to 13:00 on Saturdays. Approximately 50% of the coursework will be conducted online, utilizing platforms like Zoom or Teams to facilitate synchronous learning.

The curriculum includes a range of subjects such as Political Theory and Philosophy, Political/Electoral Systems, Geostrategy and International Relations, Public Policies, Regional Economy, Regional Autonomy, Economic History of Madeira, History and Theories of International Relations, Political Communication, and International Relations Seminars.
