According to the latest information, winds are expected to blow from the north to northwest with initial speeds ranging from 31 to 50 km/h. However, as the day progresses, wind speeds are anticipated to increase between 51 and 61 km/h, presenting a significant escalation in maritime conditions.
Visibility is predicted to be generally good to moderate, although it may occasionally decrease during the afternoon. This is an essential consideration for those planning maritime activities or travel around the island.
Wave conditions are also of concern, particularly on the northern coast of Madeira where waves are anticipated to rise from 2 to 3.5 meters to 4 to 5 meters.
