Project 'TICO E TECHO' Wins Startup Madeira Initiative

The 'TICO E TECHO' project has been announced as the winner of the prestigious Startup Madeira initiative, marking a significant achievement in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship on the island. This announcement came at the conclusion of the 16th edition of the Intensive Course in Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, organized by Startup Madeira.

This annual event, which aims to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit among young Madeirans, saw the participation of 70 students from five different higher education institutions, encompassing 22 distinct fields of study. The initiative is part of the rs4e – road show for entrepreneurship, which plays a crucial role in empowering the youth and enhancing business innovation throughout Madeira.

This year, the course introduced a novel element by integrating practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the business creation process. This addition not only modernized the curriculum but also provided participants with cutting-edge tools and knowledge to thrive in the contemporary business landscape.

José Manuel Rodrigues, an influential figure in the local entrepreneurial scene, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in equipping the youth with necessary skills and fostering a culture of innovation in the region. The success of 'TICO E TECHO' is a testament to the effectiveness of these programs in cultivating future business leaders.
