Assault at Mercado dos Lavradores

Late in the evening, around 11 PM, a 32-year-old man was assaulted at the popular Mercado dos Lavradores. The attack required the intervention of the Bombeiros Voluntários Madeirenses, who swiftly transported the victim to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for treatment.

Car Accident in Funchal

Earlier in the day, emergency services responded to a car accident on Calçada da Encarnação. A 38-year-old man, who managed to exit the vehicle by himself, was found complaining of leg pain and was subsequently taken to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for medical assessment.

Pedestrian Hit on Rua Dr. Brito Câmara

In a separate incident, a 55-year-old man, reportedly intoxicated, stumbled into the road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. This incident also occurred late in the evening, leading to the man's hospitalization due to a head injury.

Mountain Biking Accident at Parque Ecológico

On the same day, a 48-year-old mountain biker suffered a suspected leg fracture while riding in the Parque Ecológico. The accident prompted a response from five emergency personnel with two vehicles to provide immediate assistance.
