Madeira's business community is making significant strides on the European stage as two local companies, 'I Am World' and 'Walkme Mobile Solutions', prepare to participate in a prestigious event dedicated to promoting female entrepreneurship. The event, titled “Pitch Presenter – Women Entrepreneurship: e-Catalogue Pitch & Networking”, is scheduled to take place on March 31st from 14:00 to 17:00 (WET) in a hybrid format at INESC TEC in Porto.
Organized under the umbrella of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the event is co-financed by the European Commission and represented in the Autonomous Region of Madeira by ACIF-CCIM. EEN is renowned as the largest European network supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a focus on innovation, internationalization, and business cooperation.
The participation of 'I Am World' and 'Walkme Mobile Solutions' underscores Madeira's dynamic business environment and its active role in European initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and international business partnerships. This event provides a platform for these companies to present their innovative projects, engage in knowledge sharing, and explore international cooperation opportunities through pitch sessions and networking activities.
By taking part in this event, Madeira not only highlights its entrepreneurial capabilities but also aligns itself with European trends promoting gender equality and business innovation. ACIF-CCIM's involvement as a partner of EEN further facilitates the integration of Madeiran companies into international markets, offering strategic partnerships and access to development programs.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Madeira to be a competitive and forward-thinking region, fostering an environment where businesses can thrive and contribute to the economic well-being of the island.
