José Sotero Gomes Serrão, a long-time resident of Caminho do Ilhéu, Câmara de Lobos, passed away on March 31, 2026. A Mass to honor his memory will be held on April 5, 2026, at the São Sebastião parish church.

Manuel de Abreu, a resident of Estrada da Banda d'Além, Ribeira Brava, passed away on March 30, 2026. His funeral is scheduled for March 31, 2026, at the São Bento parish church in Ribeira Brava, with transport provided from Furna for attendees. A Mass to commemorate his life will be held on April 7, 2026.
