Speaking to journalists, Miguel Gouveia, the president of the Madeira Classic Car Club, expressed his enthusiasm over the event's growth, emphasizing the diverse range of vehicles on display. He highlighted a Ferrari under restoration as the most valuable exhibit, though he noted that every vehicle held unique significance for its owner.
"It is the most valuable car in the exhibition in terms of value, yes, but all the cars here are special, both for us and for their owners," Gouveia stated. The exhibition also featured rare racing cars, including 1960s Formula cars, offering a unique spectacle for both local residents and visitors. These rare vehicles had never before been seen in Madeira, adding to the allure of the event.
In addition to the vehicles themselves, the event has expanded its footprint across Avenida do Mar and surrounding areas, reflecting its growing popularity and significance.
