José Manuel Fernandes Álvares

José Manuel Fernandes Álvares, a respected resident of Rua do Til, Funchal, has passed away. His funeral was held at the cemetery of Nossa Senhora das Angústias, São Martinho, where a mass was celebrated in his honor. His family expressed gratitude for the support during this difficult time and informed that a memorial mass will be held on March 29, 2026, at the Sé Catedral do Funchal.

Fernando de Andrade Castro

Fernando de Andrade Castro, known for his involvement in the local business community as the father of the founder of O Pátio – Brunch & Bistrô, passed away at his home in Santa Maria Maior, Funchal. His funeral was conducted in the same cemetery, with a memorial mass planned for March 25 at São Martinho Church. His family, along with the local business community, expressed deep sorrow and gratitude for the outpouring of support.

Agostinho da Silva

A resident of Nova Cidade, Câmara de Lobos, Agostinho da Silva was remembered for his dedication to his family and community. The funeral took place at Nossa Senhora das Angústias, with a special mention of gratitude to the medical staff at Casa São João de Deus for their care. A memorial service is scheduled for March 26 at the São Sebastião Church.

Conceição Rodrigues Rocha

Conceição Rodrigues Rocha, a cherished resident of Calheta, was laid to rest following a service at the Church of São Francisco Xavier. Her family plans a memorial mass on March 29. The community remembers her as a pillar of strength and kindness.
