On the night of April 29th, a 43-year-old Nepalese man was assaulted on Rua do Ribeirinho de Baixo in Funchal. The man sustained injuries to his face and mouth and required immediate medical attention. The volunteer fire brigade quickly arrived on the scene, providing first aid before transporting the victim to Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça for further treatment.
Sudden Death in São João
In another incident, on the morning of April 29th, a man in his 50s was found dead in his home in the São João area of Funchal.
