Eco Mercado begins in Câmara de Lobos with coastal clean-up

Eco Mercado starts on Saturday, 26 September, at Largo da Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Câmara de Lobos. The Câmara Municipal de Câmara de Lobos initiative opens with a coastal clean-up at Praia do Vigário, starting at 9:00; participants are due to meet there at 8:45.

The clean-up marks International Coastal Cleanup Day. The community is invited to take part in preserving the coastline.

The programme runs on 26 and 27 September, combining civic participation, local traditions and music.

• 15:00-15:30: Grupo Folclore da Quinta Grande.
• 16:30-18:00: Heloísa Sousa.
• 18:30-20:00: Pearl of Storms.

• 14:00-14:45: Traditional nikita workshop.
• 15:00-15:30: Grupo Folclore Refúgio da Freira.
• 16:30-18:00: Cristiano Luís.
• 18:30-20:00: Beatriz Abrunhosa closes the musical programme.

The municipality invites residents and visitors to follow the programme and join the coastal clean-up.
