Agostinho de Freitas, a long-time resident of Beco do Espírito Santo, Câmara de Lobos, passed away on April 5, 2026. His funeral is scheduled for April 6 at the chapel of the Câmara de Lobos cemetery, with a Mass to be held at 14:00. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who fondly remember him. A seventh-day Mass will be held at the São Sebastião parish church on April 11.
Domingas Fernandes de Sousa: A Beloved Family Matriarch
Domingas Fernandes de Sousa, whose residence was on Estrada dos Terreiros, Campanário, passed away on April 5. Her funeral will take place on April 7, 2026, starting from Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça and proceeding to São Paulo Church in Ribeira Brava.
