A staffed indoor playground of 450 square metres in central Funchal with a proper café, sold in two-hour slots for children aged two to ten.
What sets it apart from the island's other playrooms is that trained animators are inside the play area playing with the children rather than watching from a desk - which is also why adults are not allowed into the zones at all, a problem if your toddler is a clinger. Parents describe genuinely sitting down: the café food is praised on its own terms and there is fast internet and a bar area, so a session gets used for work as often as for coffee. The age cap is enforced, so an eleven-year-old sibling cannot tag along.
Worth knowing: Non-slip socks and trousers or leggings are required - bare legs and bare feet do not get in, and you will be buying socks at the counter. Slots are fixed at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00, so it does not work as a spontaneous twenty-minute stop.

Prices
12.50 € an hour per child for ages two to ten, and 22.50 € for an hour with two children. A group booking is 320 € for two hours with fifteen children aged two to eight. The operator's own FAQ quotes the same rate as 25 € for a two-hour slot, which comes to the same thing - confirm when you book.
