Câmara de Lobos's indoor, bookish holiday scheme, run at the municipal library through July and August as the wet-weather counterpart to its sports camp.

Almost nothing about it is published: not the ages, not the fee, not the exact dates, and not whether a visiting family can enrol at all. What the council does describe is the enrolment mechanism, which is unusual - you apply through the online municipal counter, wait for the library to validate it and email you, and only then have three days to pay, in person at the social development office or by bank transfer.

Worth knowing: Phone before you count on it. The 2026 parents' meetings were held at the library on 17 June and 22 July at 19:00, and those dates are the best signal of when each half of the camp starts.
