Levada do Furado

One of the island's classic levada walks, from Ribeiro Frio on the ER 303 across to Portela on the ER 102. It is 11 km with five hours of walking time, between 880 m and 645 m, and IFCN grades it medium. The two ends sit on different roads, so it is usually walked with a taxi or a lift arranged at the far end.
