The University of Madeira will host the XI Employment Forum on May 28-29, focusing on bridging the gap between graduates and the job market.

The XI Employment Forum is set to take place at the University of Madeira’s Campus Universitário da Penteada on May 28-29, 2026, from 9 AM to 4 PM. This annual event, organized by the Observatório de Emprego e Formação Profissional da Universidade da Madeira and the Polo de Emprego, aims to strengthen the connection between students, recent graduates, and the job market.

The forum provides a platform for direct interaction with potential employers, offering concrete career opportunities. Various companies from different sectors will be present, providing job and internship offers. The event will also feature a series of lectures and workshops addressing challenges and opportunities in the current job market, along with networking sessions between participants and recruiters.

A significant highlight of this edition is the "Espaço Engenharia & Inovação," developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering and Exact Sciences of the University of Madeira. This space will showcase prototypes, projects, and practical demonstrations, emphasizing academic talent and innovation.

The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 AM on May 28. The event is free and open to the public, making it especially relevant for final-year students, recent graduates, and anyone seeking integration or progression in the job market.
