The closing concert of "Ilha Secreta, Fachos de Música" takes place on Saturday 31 October from 17:00 to 18:00 at the Casa-Museu Frederico de Freitas in Funchal. The series began in July and has put four intimate concerts into cultural and historic buildings around Madeira, with the audience close to the musicians. Seats are limited and you must register in advance, so this is one to sort out before the day rather than turn up for. It is produced by Bicho d'Pêssego, a Madeiran cultural association, with support from the Regional Directorate of Culture. The organisers have not published the performers.

Practical information

The house-museum is in central Funchal, a walk uphill from the cathedral and the seafront. From the cruise terminal allow a longer walk; a taxi is the easy option. Parking nearby is scarce.
