The walk out along the bare eastern peninsula, from Baía d'Abra to the Casa do Sardinha, 4 km each way and 8 km in total. It stays low, between 126 m and 23 m, and IFCN allows 2 h 30 for the round trip at a medium grade. There is no shade on the peninsula and no water on the way, and the wind out here is stronger than almost anywhere else on the island.
