Levada do Barreiro

A levada walk on the southern slope of the central massif, from Poço da Neve down to Casa do Barreiro. IFCN calls it easy: 5.2 km, 2 h 10, and a drop from 1650 m to 975 m along the water channel. Being a levada, the walking surface is level for long stretches even though the route loses height overall.
