Levada da Rocha Vermelha

A long levada from the Fanal on the ER 209 out to the canal keepers' house at Lombo da Atouguia, 10.8 km in four hours. The channel falls from 1297 m to 837 m through the northern laurel forest. IFCN publishes no difficulty grade, but the distance alone makes it a half day at least.
