The 7th Madeira Workshop on Belief Revision, Argumentation, Ontologies, and Norms (BRAON 2026) will bring together 35 researchers to discuss knowledge dynamics in Machico, Madeira from March 3-7.

Madeira is set to host the 7th Madeira Workshop on Belief Revision, Argumentation, Ontologies, and Norms (BRAON 2026), a significant international event focusing on knowledge dynamics. From March 3 to 7, 2026, the conference will take place at the Dom Pedro Madeira Hotel in Machico, drawing 35 researchers from around the globe.

Organized by the Madeira Group of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, the workshop is spearheaded by Eduardo Fermé, a distinguished professor at the University of Madeira's Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering. The event aims to foster discussions and collaborations in the fields of Belief Revision, Argumentation, and Knowledge Dynamics, areas that are crucial for advancing artificial intelligence and computational logic.
