Maria Xavier Jardim, from Sítio do Pico in São Jorge, also left this world on February 25, 2026. Her funeral took place at the Igreja Paroquial de São Jorge on the same day. The family extended their thanks to the staff at the Lar de Idosos de Santana for their compassionate care.

The community of Arco de São Jorge mourned Manuel Pestana who passed on February 24, 2026. His funeral was conducted at the Igreja Paroquial do Arco de São Jorge on February 25. His family was touched by the community's support and will hold a special service on March 1.

Maria da Conceição de Freitas Alves, a resident of Rua das Levadas in Santa Cruz, was remembered fondly at her funeral on February 26, 2026, at the Igreja Matriz de Santa Cruz. Her family arranged transportation for those wishing to attend, demonstrating the strong bonds she forged in her lifetime.
